The Dai Bendu Monastery, also known as the Dai Bendu temple or the Ashiga Clan Stronghold while under the control of the Ashiga Clan, was a monastery on the planet of Kijimi that served as the foundation of Kijimi City, belonging to the religious group of Dai Bendu. It served as a point of pilgrimage for the religious group known as the Brotherhood of the Beatific Countenance, that once occupied Quarter of the Beatific on the planet, and was guarded by the Dai Bendu temple guardians at some point. The monastery served as the main seat of power of Kijimi City through the ages, and when the Ashiga Clan arrived on Kijimi during the High Republic era they took over the monastery, using it as their stronghold until at least 3 ABY. |
